We typically respond within a few business days. Including your device model, OS version (iOS or Android), and a screenshot of the result helps a lot.
CensorPulse is a network‑diagnostics tool. With one tap it checks whether the network you are on interferes with connections to a built‑in list of public websites and services, and tells you — in plain language — whether each destination is reachable or something is getting in the way, and at which layer.
It checks several layers of each connection:
CensorPulse only measures. It is not a VPN or proxy: it does not route, tunnel, or modify your traffic, does not make you anonymous, and does not bypass any restriction. It requires no account, has no ads, and keeps results on your device.

Your language choice and your most recent report are stored locally on your device only.
Does CensorPulse need internet?
Yes. It measures how a network treats traffic, so it must send probe requests over that network. On an offline device there is nothing to measure.
Is there an account or cloud sync?
No. There is no account, and your results are not uploaded. Everything stays on your device.
Why does every result show CLEAR?
That is the healthy result. On an unrestricted network there is no interference to report. CensorPulse becomes informative on networks that filter or tamper with traffic.
What leaves my device when I run it?
Probe traffic goes to the destinations being tested, to public DNS‑over‑HTTPS resolvers (Cloudflare, Google, Quad9), and to a public IP/ASN‑lookup service used to show your network label. This is the measurement itself, not tracking. Your IP address is not stored in the report. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Does it hide my traffic or unblock anything?
No. CensorPulse is a measurement tool only. It does not route, modify, or anonymize your traffic and does not provide access to any blocked content.
A run is taking a long time.
On a heavily filtered network some probes wait for timeouts. You can tap CANCEL at any time, and a run stops automatically when it reaches its overall time limit.
How do I share or save a result?
On the Results tab, tap EXPORT JSON and pick a destination in your device’s share sheet. The report contains what you see on screen and never your IP address.
How do I reset the app?
Clear the app’s storage in your device settings, or uninstall and reinstall.
Why does Android list a network/internet permission?
CensorPulse needs internet access to perform its measurements. It does not request location, contacts, camera, or other sensitive permissions.
Is it free? Are there in‑app purchases?
CensorPulse is free and has no in‑app purchases in this version.
